The Medical Associate, HIV provides technical guidance and clinical oversight in HIV and AIDS, STI, and TB prevention, care, and treatment for EHSA’s programs, which currently focus on HIV counseling and testing, male circumcision, and STI management. He or she will identify, develop and disseminate the latest clinical guidelines and standards, conduct regular technical monitoring visits of EHSA programs/projects, and provide technical updates, training, and mentoring for EngenderHealth and project partner’s staff on HIV related clinical issues. He or she will work closely with other EHSA program staff and the Country Representative to identify, document, disseminate, adapt, and replicate clinical best practices in HIV/STI prevention, HIV counseling and testing, male circumcision, and STI diagnosis and treatment, and take them to scale.
