Africa Health Placement's objective is to to support and enhance healthcare systems in Africa, by finding, placing and retaining the right people for the job.
To achieve this, we work in strategic partnership with government bodies and hospital management, in order to fill present staffing gaps whilst workign toward a future in which people view the public sector differently – as a viable, vibrant, meaningful and exciting career choice.
We offer a zero-fee, recruitment service for local health facilities (government and NGO sectors), working within the ethical regulations set by bodies such as the HPCSA. Our candidate pool includes both local and international health professionals, and we are able place over 20 foreign-qualified doctors at the cost of training just a single doctor. (A cost that is borne by our donors, and not the facility in question).
For short-term, immediate staff requirements, we offer a locum placement service at competitive rates. All of the funds generated from this service are reinvested into improving the health system. Our locum service has become the preferred choice amongst candidates, because we guarantee payment within one week.
